Cindy Neuman is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and arrived in Lexington 13 years ago by way of Orlando. Cindy's 26 years of experience in facilities management, centering around operation and customer service, made her an excellent fit for the position of Service Manager for Bates Security.
Cindy has two (actually, three) children; her son lives in Lexington with his wife, her daughter is engaged and living in Houston, Texas and her Border Collie, Redford, still lives at home.
Q. How long have you worked at Bates Security?
A. I started as Service Manager on October 1, 2013, but I interviewed several times and met the fabulous staff, so I feel like I've been part of the family for much longer!
Q. How did you get your job at Bates Security?
A. I worked with Jeremy Bates [General Manager and Part-Owner of Bates Security] as a contractor for a few years. He thought of me when he was looking to hire my position and asked me to come in and chat. Worked out!
Q. What are your job duties?
A. I am Service Manager and oversee all the service technicians and dispatchers for all Bates Security and Sonitrol of Lexington customers. This includes customer service and repairs for alarm systems, access control systems, cameras and video surveillance, fire systems and much more!
Q. What is your favorite part about your job?
A. It's been said before, so you know it's true - my co-workers! I love the people I work with day in and day out. And even though you didn't ask my least favorite - it's the temperature in my office! It's so cold all the time! Someone tell Jeremy if you see him!
