Q. How long have you been with Bates Security?
A. I started as a temporary employee in April of 2007 and was hired full time the following August. I just hit my seven year mark!
Q. How did you get your job at Bates Security?
A. I was set up for an interview through the temporary agency, Office Team. I felt comfortable immediately and was hired on the spot! Like I said, I was a temp at first and I was relieved when Bates decided to keep me as a full time employee after my temporary status.
Q. What are your job duties?
A. For years, I floated between Service Dispatcher and Customer Service Center Representative. Shortly after we moved into our new headquarters in 2012, I was made permanent Service Dispatcher. As our company grew, they've hired another girl in my department. We are responsible for correspondence with customers and technicians regarding troubleshooting service issues, scheduling service calls and creating and closing service tickets.
Q. What is your favorite part about your job?
A. That it's always someone's birthday and there's always cake! Just kidding! I like being able to help our customers. We truly are a team here at Bates Security and it's nice to work with energetic, enthusiastic co-workers to keep our customers happy.
