Tamar "Tay" Israel is a native of Lexington, KY where she attended Tates Creek High School and then BCTCS. After graduating, she started a family and now has three handsome young boys. Tay is very active in her church and serves as an advocate for foster care, regularly speaking to legislative boards about policy.
Tay is a Customer Service Center Representative and was recently named "Employee of the Quarter" for the first quarter at the company.
Q. How long have you been with Bates Security?
A. I have been with Bates for two and a half years now. The time has flown by!
Q. How did you get your job at Bates Security?
A. I've known the General Manager, Jeremy Bates, for some time. I was "recruited" by him from another job! I remember that he told me he wanted me to work for him because of my personality, attitude and because I always had a smile on my face.
Q. What are your job duties?
A. I am a Customer Service Center Rep. I take phone calls daily to help our customers change their codes and emergency call lists, put new jobs online into the central monitoring station and assist technicians and installers in the field.
Q. What is your favorite part about your job?
A. I am able to ensure our customers Peace of Mind. I feel respected and valued in my position and was honored to be named "Employee of the Quarter" - I must be doing something right!
